Thread: Cal is good
Cal is good -JDR
Astute. This ensues:
"Of course they are. No shame in that opening season loss although everyone wanted to act like the world was coming to a end." - chitownsparty86
"Where are you seeing the score/game? It's not on the Fox Sports page at all." - Numbnuts
(animated smiley face shrugging its shoulders) - MattR644
Uh-oh. Someone explain the internets to them quick, so they can check the score of the team they played LAST week! They must be vindicated for their loss, or else they might have to examine their own team for once!
"ESPN - NCAA College Football Scores, College Football Scores, NCAA Football Scoreboard and Results" - St8 Law
"Weird. I just checked that a minute ago and it wasn't on there." - Numb Nuts, again.
He is struggling. If anybody can figure out how to get the score of a football game online, please let him know so he can check the Michigan game next week!
"52-3, 3 to go, 3rd quarter. If WSU's not careful, they're going to hang 10+ touchdowns on 'em. They already got 7.....I don't care WHO they're playing right now....with each TD Cal scores, I'm becoming more and more impressed with how we hung tough and played till the end last week" - All Your Base
Woo! The team you played last week is beating a shitty opponent! Great job. You guys ever talk about your own team?
Er...I guess not. Next thread: Discussion of the upcoming ND/UM game.
"Day: Saturday
Date: Sept. 13, 2008
Location: Notre Dame, Ind.
Time: 3:30 p.m. ET
These two looked terrible today. I might give the slight edge to ND, only for the home field advantage. What's the over/under on total yards? 250?" - #1.
Thanks for the schedule update. You'd better set your mom's Tivo.
"I would agree that ND will be the favorite. Both teams are terrible and we should handle both of them this year. It will be interesting to watch these 2 traditional programs look like crap together on the field. Of course, I am sure Lou Holtz will pick ND to win by 20 points. The old fart still thinks they will win 10 or 11 games." - LIR Spartan
"Won't that be the real irony? The two winningest programs in college football history currently are tSuck." - #1
No, that is not ironic. You've been listening to your Alanis CDs again, haven't you?
"In a related scum story I see Utah is struggling against UNLV." - Steve81You were 2-0 last week!
"Won't the real winners be those of us who don't watch the game?" - #1, againHe's still going to watch, even if he says he isn't.
Last thread: Cass Tech Will Campbell....
"Oh my!!!!!! Must be allergic to snake oil." - Heat Miser
omfglolroflmao!
"hello USC
Goodbye Teric Jones (he is his teammate who might leave too)" - spartaspartan (sweet name, brah!)
No, he won't.
"Spin this one scUM slappies. "Oh, we didn't want him...." BULL****!! That boy is going to make a HUGE impact." - Big Ten Referee
Um, nope. That's what you guys do whenever something happens. Remember how you told us we wanted Tyler Hoover? Yeah.
"Wow, come on over to MSU!" - Steve81
I'm sure he will.
Anyway, I would post much, much more but I'm lazy and this has gone on too long. For shits and giggles, I suggest browsing some of the threads when bored or feel like banging your head against a brick wall, or both. The thread title that asks if Gameday will come to East Lansing if MSU and Notre Dame both win is particularly intriguing (for the record: no. no chance in hell).
