Billy Sauer, you suck. Worst big game performance ever. Kudos to Bryan Hogan who was put in a horrible position by the flailing one and almost pulled off a miracle. I suppose this is when we're supposed to talk about how this team wasn't supposed to be here, 4th place predictions, etc. But getting this far and losing sucks, especially when you spot the other team a 3 goal lead when an 8 year old could've stopped them.

Good. Then maybe your dog should go out for the spot next year. This kid has been amazing in goal all season and he's going to get the blame for last night. Yes, he should have stopped the goals he didn't. Seriously though, I didn't see the offense lighting Pearce up in the first period either.
This kid has not been amazing all season. He has been amazing in spots all season, and in others he has been non existent. We get the good Sauer and the next game we get this. The team played well enough to win. The goalie let them down. Get over it.
I agree; the offense did enough to win that game. should have been 4-1 or 4-2.
