Anyways, I downloaded the 00 Orange Bowl, which brought me back to my days with the team, and made me think of the mistake I almost made. I clearly am a little more irrational than most football fans. I love the game more than anything, and pour my heart and soul into it. It was even worse when I was with the team and had a personal stake in things. Anyways, we go down 14-0, fight back and tie it at 14, then Bama goes up 21-14 on a 50 yard Shaun Alexander run. We get stopped, and Freddie Milons dashes down the sideline to put them up 28-14. I was standing on the line of scrimmage for some reason, and was close to the goalline when Milons broke free for what appeared to be the clinching score. For a split second, I contemplated tripping him. Surely they wouldn't award Bama a TD, would they? Luckily, the fear of God that I had in Coach Carr won out, Milons scored, and Tommy took over. But thanks to MGoVideo, I'll have the reminder of what could've been. People could've been talking about "that crazy Michigan guy who tripped Freddie Milons."
